Teresa Speakman
Hello, I am Teresa Speakman, a life-long learner, potter, and backyard gardener. I first heard of Compassionate Communication (NVC) while exploring philosophies of compassion and the pursuit of personal healing. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Specialized Studies focused on Art, Psychology, Social Work, & Women’s Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Communication with a special focus on Compassionate Communication in the Workplace. I offer presentations, classes, and playshops with the vision of bringing about personal healing, growth, and positive social change.
“Working with Teresa weekly on how I communicate and see the world has been worth every penny. She can tell when I am in pain or struggling and my empathy sessions with her have been very healing. I look forward to my time with her and have found myself feeling more hopeful, mindful, and grounded throughout my week. Seeing NVC in action through her has made a huge difference for me in being able to in turn practice it better in my day-to-day life. I am so grateful for her perspective in helping me live more compassionately.” -Caydee
