Make a pretty awesome food-safe stoneware plate! Demonstration of methods and assistance given.

Beginning with wet clay, you will use the slab hand-building method to form and decorate your plate. You will learn several techniques to decorate and embellish your original piece.

Feel free to bring a favorite beverage to enjoy while you play with clay! We are in the DORA district.

Your piece will then be finished by Primitive Mud Pottery Studio: it will need to dry for several days and be fired in the bisque kiln, then food-safe glaze applied and fired again in the glaze firing to vitrify the clay into durable ceramic. This will take 2-4 weeks and you will be notified by text or email when it is ready to pick up.
