Let’s Make Gargoyles and other Creatures! BYOB if desired.

Your creature can be designed as a planter, incense burner, mug… Get creative! Let your imagination and creativity flow with this fun playshop making gargoyles and other creatures! Basic hand-building/ sculpture methods will be demonstrated, and assistance given. No experience is necessary.

This is a fun wet clay playshop to do with kids or friends. The suggested youngest age is 5 simply in consideration that we have counter height stools with no backs, and your safety is our concern.

Your piece will then be finished by Primitive Mud Pottery Studio: it will need to dry for several days and be fired in the bisque kiln, then food-safe glaze applied and fired again in the glaze firing to vitrify the clay into durable ceramic. This will take 2-4 weeks and you will be notified by email when it is ready to pick up.
